Farhan has had a distinguished 27 year long career as a serial entrepreneur, a senior corporate executive with multinational corporations in India, Australia, UAE, Singapore and has been engaged in running for-profit and not-for-profit social organization.
A gold medallist Mechanical Engineer from Pune University, Farhan left civil services and studied business management at Indian School of Business (ISB),Hyderabad and subsequently did the Advanced Management Programme from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.
Farhan has served as CEO/COO of firms such as – Carrier (UTC Group),Norfolk Group (ASX Listed),ISS Facility Management (Denmark) and Enactus (USA).
He has been recognized by The Honourable Prime Minister of India and The President of India as the emerging Business leader of the year. Farhan currently serves as an Honorary Advisor to the Prime Minister of India (PMO) and is also a nominee on The Task Force for Skill Development in CII India@75. He is regularly invited to share his ideas on platforms such as – TiE, World Economic Forum and various summits such as The Economist and The Economic Times.
As Executive Director & Head Development in Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, he has been successful in creating partnerships with corporate firms such as – HDFC (H T Parekh Foundation),TATA Capital, Bajaj Finance, Star TV, HSBC, and Tata Trust, to name a few.
