Established on 27 December 2020, the Dalsinghsarai Surgical Centre was created to strengthen access to quality eye care for communities across surrounding rural and semi urban regions.

The centre was set up to bring affordable surgical services closer to patients who would otherwise need to travel long distances for treatment, particularly for cataract related vision loss and other avoidable causes of blindness.

Since its establishment, the centre has steadily grown into a trusted surgical hub with 40 beds and 2 operating theatres, serving a high volume of patients through both hospital based services and extensive outreach camps.

Over the past five financial years, the centre has delivered more than 42,000 surgeries, supported thousands of patients through camp-based screenings, and expanded access to free and subsidised care for underserved families.

Today, Dalsinghsarai continues to play a critical role in restoring sight and improving the quality of life across the region through timely surgical intervention and community outreach.
