Arnab Sarkar is an experienced Hospital and Healthcare Management professional with more than 15 years of rich experience in Programme Management, Quality and Systems Improvements at hospitals. He is a Bachelor in Hospital Management and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration.

Starting with an assignment as a Project Manager Project with Ramakrishna Mission Hospital in Itanagar, he ventured in to the domain and started working as a quality consultant for public health facilities in different states with organisation like ACME, HOSMAC etc. for several years. He is a certified lead auditor for ISO 9001:2008 from DNV and ISO 9001:2015 from Bureau Veritas. He participated in various workshops pertaining to lean, Kaizen and problem-solving techniques. He is also trained in 5s and RCA - CAPA techniques from American Society for Quality (ASQ) and as a skill trainer for National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). He is also a certified COVID 19 contact tracer recognised by Johns Hopkins University. He is a trained Project and Programme Manager from the Lions Aravind Institute of Community Ophthalmology (LAICO),Madurai.

He shoulders the management of all CSR and Institutional projects at Akhand Jyoti while bringing rich implementation and mentoring experience in execution of ISO and NABH standards in private and public-sector hospitals of India. In his previous assignment, he was a part of Orbis International for four years as a Programme Manager, where he initiated and was involved since inception of Orbis’ Quality Resource Center established at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi. He was also instrumental in developing Infection Control Guidelines for the Orbis’ “Flying Eye Hospital”.
